Here will present the latest news from the Federated States of Micronesia's Pacific Adaptation to Climate Change Project.
I am sad to see the end of this blog - one less voice covering the impact of climate change in Micronesia. Odd that as the blog ends, Supertyphoon Maysak is still over Yap and Ulithi, another extra-seasonal low pressure spins quietly 265 nm south-southeast of Kosrae, and an atypical central Pacific late season El Nino has appeared on the ocean. Signs of climate change? Not necessarily, yet taken together these conditions are unusual. Will my children one day have to explain that they were born and raised on islands which are no longer inhabitable?
